What is the steel thickness of the cladding?
For our structure, the thickness we use depends on the region and the size of the building. The steel thickness of the sandwich panels is 0.50 mm for the outside of the wall and 0.45 mm for the inside. For non-insulated cladding, the steel thickness is 0.50 mm or 0.63 mm.
What are the insulation values of our panels?
For 60 mm wall panels, the R-value is 1.82 and the U-value is 0.55. For 100 mm wall panels, the R-value is 3.15 and the U-value is 0.32. For 60 mm roof panels, the R-value is 2.01 and the U-value is 0.5. For 100 mm roof panels, the R-value is 3.25 and the U-value is 0.31.
Is an open structure also possible?
No, with FRISOKIT, an open building is not possible. If this is what you are looking for, please contact FRISOMAT.
What does buying from FRISOKIT look like in practice?
- You request and receive your quote.
- If you accept it, you will receive an order confirmation.
- Your construction plans will be drawn up by our technical service, and sent to you in DWG format. Your architect can use this for the building permit application, which saves you time and money.
- Once these building plans have been approved, we start production. In the meantime, we coordinate practical issues around delivery. The assembly instructions will be sent to you digitally in advance.
- Your DIY steel building kit will be delivered within 8 weeks, and then you can start assembly!
Can I work with Stelcon plates?
Yes, you can use Stelcon plates. But make sure that the anchor points do not touch the seams. Please note: the finishing pieces that we supply are not specifically made for Stelcon plates. You must therefore provide waterproofing yourself, such as a roofing slab.
What are the dimensions of the doors?
This depends on your building and the desired dimensions. Do you want a door in the long side? We install it between the trusses, which gives a drive-through width of 3.65 m. There are other options on the end wall. Contact your adviser to discuss this further.
