Hubert Van Riet was born and raised in Merchtem, a village in Flemish Brabant. After a past in metalworking, Hubert has since switched to agriculture. His sons are just as handy as he is. The Van Riet family needed a space where they could work without hassle, and the outdated concrete workspace no longer met their requirements. Moreover, the asbestos sheets on the roof were also in need of a safe replacement.
The search for a sustainable workspace led the Van Riet family to FRISOKIT. What started with a good conversation soon resulted in detailed construction plans for a steel building and all the necessary equipment. Then, of course, all that remained was to assemble the building! It was a process that Hubert’s son described as fast, fun and pleasant – and one that led to smart savings.A month’s work resulted in a well-insulated steel building, which is even pleasant to be in over the winter.
